Professional Development

We budget annually for teams/individuals to attend seminars, classes, special training, etc., plus support professional membership dues and IDP, NCARB and ARE costs. We also support on-going initiatives for computer training, project management training and all-staff retreats.

Goal Setting and Performance Evaluations

We advocate providing timely feedback to each other. (Who really wants any surprises at their performance review?) We have created structured opportunities to discuss your goals and aspirations with your team leader, and set a course for achieving those goals. We also ask each team member to appraise the performance of their team, team leader and the firm.

Leadership Career Tracks

We have written criteria for Associate, Associate Principal and Principal Career Tracks. The criteria are clearly defined, are related directly to the Vision of the firm, and are equally applicable to all staff. We recognize and value the preferences, personal goals and strengths of technically oriented individuals as much as those who have chosen a management path.
