Kahler Slater served as the health science educational design lead on the planning and design of this 78,000 square foot health sciences/nursing education center. The center’s building design integrates advanced technology with flexible space, as well as providing lab space immediately adjacent to classroom and lecture areas. Classroom and lab areas were designed and constructed to simulate actual medical office, hospital and home health care settings to give students a hands-on health care practice experience. The facility also provides practicing health care professionals with additional training opportunities.
