Fortune Brands, a leading consumer brands company, selected Kahler Slater to refresh and expand the organization’s headquarters through interior design and environmental branding. The interdisciplinary design team members representing architecture, interior design, environmental branding, graphics and cultural experience strategy each contributed early in the process to uncover the project vision, drivers and key storylines through a facilitated visioning session with a diverse group from the organization.
The resulting design solutions provide a strong organizing plan to transform the office space into a vessel that supports Fortune Brand's business goals, celebrates the brands and provides an effective environment for the people who work and visit. A new entry experience, board room and social spaces are supported by the key message: Fortune Brands builds companies that build brands through innovation and growth. The new environment is designed to support and improve the visitor and employee experience, increase social interaction among employees that typically work independently, increase employee brand pride through expanded opportunities for connectivity and showcase the enterprise's products, brands and heritage. The team has recently been selected to work on additional projects for Fortune Brands' companies.
