Badger Meter, an innovative global leader in manufacturing water meters, sought to transform its overall employee experience to ensure the company would remain an employer of choice and achieve its vision well into the future. The 500+ employee company wanted to build upon its long history and strong cultural foundation, yet continue to grow and expand by attracting and retaining innovative, forward-thinking staff to take the company into the future. Badger Meter partnered with Kahler Slater to examine its existing culture and employee experience; facilitate the design of the desired future employee experience and create a roadmap of immediate and longer term steps Badger Meter can take to enhance its employee experience. The overall initiative, called Create Our Future, began with Kahler Slater facilitating the articulation of a name and developing a look for the initiative so that all efforts made were "under" an umbrella branded name to help employees see the interrelatedness of all activities and to capture the power of the initiative's achievements as it moves to implementation.
