The Art Institutes (Ai) is America’s leader in creative education with more than 45 education institutions, providing hands-on education in the creative and applied arts, including culinary, design, fashion and media arts. When Ai developed a new brand campaign, Create Tomorrow, the opportunity to improve the prospective and enrolled student experience in the schools emerged.
Kahler Slater was hired to provide an environmental branding plan. The goal of the project was to elevate the admissions and school tour experience, tell the unique stories of Ai's offerings, connect students to the professional careers that could become their future and create inspiration for students to succeed. The design team created an environmental graphics prototype master plan that could be modified and implemented across all of the Ai schools, creating cohesive brand messaging throughout their facilities. Recently completed, the Houston school was the first school to implement the plan. We are currently in the process of planning a roll out across additional schools.
