Kahler Slater is currently working on an urban mixed-use development with sustainable features built into the site. A large parking component provides parking for the residents, but also supports the neighborhood commercial space of adjacent buildings. The building is sensitive to the neighborhood plan and is in the very early stages of the neighborhood approval process. The proposed exterior combines architectural ideas of new and old, to blend the building into the historic fabric of the neighborhood, and at the same time, emphasize contemporary design.
