Kahler Slater was engaged by the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee to assist them with designing a specific experience for a “health seeker” market.
This 47,000 SF facility reflects a new concept for providing fitness and wellness services to YMCA members. This branch would include a four-lane lap/exercise pool, a warm water therapy pool, an 8,000 SF wellness center, refined locker rooms and assessment spaces.
The YMCA has a partnership with a healthcare provider who intends to use the YMCA’s complimentary program spaces. There is also a dedicated 6,000 SF attached daycare that will support a neighboring corporate partner and the childcare needs in this community.
