Erehwon Wins the Business Journal of Milwaukee Real Estate Award

Erehwon Mountain Outfitters, a specialty outdoor equipment retailer, with a new 12,000-square-foot flagship store at Bayshore Mall in Milwaukee, WI has been cited as the best retail development of 2010 by The Business Journal of Milwaukee.

Kahler Slater was responsible for the exterior design, including signage. The judges cited our design team’s creative use of natural materials, such as rough-sawn lumber, to create a brand appropriate façade. And it was noted that the signage is effective for the store’s freeway location, yet fits with its outdoorsy image.
