Kahler Slater Director of Research, Dyutima Jha, M. Arch., Assoc. AIA, EDAC, was recently published in Healthcare Design Magazine. Her article, The Next Wave in Cancer Care Design, focused on planning and designing for carbon-ion therapy facilities. This advanced form of treatment calls for environments with larger spaces, calming surroundings, and the ability to keep up with technology upgrades, all while maintaining the ideal patient experience.
Jha has been nationally published on this topic in the past, appearing in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy Journal in 2011.
