Kahler Slater's Design Researcher, Kate Egan, presented at the American Society for Healthcare Engineering's Region 6 Conference in Mankato, MN. Kate's April presentation focused on evidence-based design (EBD) and how directors and engineers can apply EBD best practices to their day to day management of health care facilities. She discussed how EBD positively impacted and influenced our work at Martha Jefferson Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and Singapore's National University Hospital.
