Women in focus groups also had a hand in talking about design ideas. Women asked that there be natural light as well as aspects of nature, and five stain glass windows were also donated. The center will have outpatient womens imaging services, such as mammography and image recovery.
"If you want to get something done, find women that are passionate about it and give them a job to do and they just go for it," said Sherrill Glanzer, Development Officer, RMH Foundation.
"We respect women for who they are, what they want and how they want it. We ask, you know, what we can do that you would like," said Teresa Boshart Yoder, Director of Women's Services.
