MILWAUKEE, WI – Kahler Slater CEO, George Meyer, was recently named the 2018 Debra Usinger Outstanding Community Partner by Milwaukee’s Westown Association.
George has served on The Westown Association’s board since 2002 and remains active in Westown’s efforts to improve the quality of life for residents, businesses and guests. In addition to his board position, George has completed several architectural projects in the Westown neighborhood, and is currently leading the redevelopment of the Historic Warner Grand Theater as the future home of The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
Debra Usinger was one of Westown’s biggest contributors. Upon her passing in 2012, The Westown Association established the award in her name. The Debra Usinger Outstanding Community Partner Award honors Debra’s legacy within the organization and annually highlights an individual who demonstrates an equal passion for Westown through his/her time, energy, and resources.
