COVID-19 has had a profound impact on healthcare design. Overnight, healthcare spaces were re-engineered to accommodate a new patient population and to deal with upended normal patient care. The design industry responded to the challenges with creative solutions that addressed many short-term needs. Now is the time to take a step back and reflect on what we have learned since the pandemic began and develop long-term strategies to enable healthcare systems to stay relevant. Join this conversation and take stock of lessons learned (good and bad) and best practices, and plan for healthcare environments that are flexible and resilient for now and into the future.
Join Kahler Slater’s Manuel Hernandez , MD, MS, MBA, FACEP, CPE at the 2021 Healthcare Design Expo + Conference in Cleveland Ohio on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 9:45a – 10:45a.
