Kahler Slater Launches Chicago Presence with the Addition of Trina Sandschafer

Kahler Slater is thrilled to announce we are expanding our U.S. footprint to Chicago with the hire of architect Trina Sandschafer, AIA who will serve as Design Principal and Vice President. Trina brings extensive expertise in multi-family and single-family residential as well as hospitality projects. She will lead our Chicago office, while also adding exceptional design leadership on a firm level. She will help deliver on Kahler Slater’s mission to enrich life and achieve powerful results through design.

Previously, Trina spent 13 years at the prestigious Chicago-based design firm Booth Hansen. While there, she served in many roles including Design Principal, master planner, key project leader for multi-family and single-family residential projects, talent acquisition leader and executive committee member. Trina played a key role on several Chicago-area high-profile projects including 61 East Banks Apartments, Chicago, IL and Kelmscott Park, Lake Forest, IL. Her input shaped notable projects including The Parker Fulton Market and The Hayden West Loop, among many others. She is well known for her work on private residences in Michigan, Indiana, Canada, and Chicago.
