Thomas Miller, AIA Advances to Principal

MILWAUKEE – Kahler Slater is pleased to announce the advancement of Housing and Hospitality Team Leader Thomas Miller, AIA to Principal.

Miller joined Kahler Slater in 2014, bringing with him significant market expertise from around the country in multi-family housing and hospitality project types including new construction, existing renovations and historic restorations. His talents were quickly sought-after by Kahler Slater’s local and national clientele who engaged him for his unique perspective on designing progressive living environments and exceptional guest experiences.

As a Principal-level team member at Kahler Slater, Miller serves as a primary driver of the firm’s business and operational teams. He is experienced in efficient design delivery for developer-led projects as well as organizations and municipalities. He focuses on ensuring positive overall team results, active client development and healthy staff advancement.

Current projects underway and being led by Miller include: Brookfield Conference Center, Westin Downtown Milwaukee, Homewood Suites, and several projects in the Madison area.

Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkley, and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University, New York. He is a registered architect and involved in numerous industry and trade organizations including Urban Land Institute, AIA Wisconsin, NEWaukee, 4MKE Creative Alliance, the Construction Specifications Institute and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
