On Friday, October 19, 2012, the groundbreaking ceremony for Mary Baldwin College Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences officially took place. This ceremony celebrated the start of work on the new campus, which will offer graduate and doctoral programs in both physical and occupational therapy, and physician assistance. The college is expected to be open in fall 2014.
