Jeff Piette and Barb Bowers presented “Strategic Planning for Collegiate Athletic Departments” at the first annual Sport and Society Conference, “A Mirror of Our Culture, Sport & Society in America.” The conference took place on May 26-28, 2010, at St. Norbert College and is a partnership between the College and the Green Bay Packers. Jeff and Barb were joined by Michael Gillespie, Ph.D., Senior Consultant with Kahler Slater Sports. Michael is also a professor at Duke University and is Chair of their Athletic Council.
