A Grand Future: Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Breaks Ground

Construction is officially underway on Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s new home, the historic Warner Grand Theater. Yesterday marked the groundbreaking ceremony, which recognized donors and celebrated the momentous news for MSO. Remarks were shared by MSO CEO & Executive Director Mark Niehaus, Board Chair Andy Nunemaker, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele, and major donors David and Julia Uihlein. The project marks a significant milestone for the City of Milwaukee, W. Wisconsin Ave., and the Symphony, continuing the trend of unprecedented growth in the heart of Milwaukee’s downtown.
