Agrace Center for Hospice & Palliative Care celebrated its groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, September 24 in Janesville, Wis. The organization had recently received a collective $2 million from anonymous donors.
The facility, to be built at 2901 N. Wright Road in Janesville, will feature 12 inpatient suites for acute care along with space for clinical home care operations, bereavement groups, staff and volunteer training, community education and outreach. Construction of the center is expected to take ten months with an anticipated opening in summer 2014. Agrace is a local, nonprofit palliative care and hospice agency that has provided end-of-life care.
