Kahler Slater, an award-winning architecture, interior design, environmental branding and strategic advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Katie Edwards, Allied ASID, CSI-EP has joined the Healthcare Team at the firm’s Richmond office.
Edwards started her Kahler Slater career in the Milwaukee Office and took advantage of the opportunity to relocate to Richmond, to serve healthcare clients with the team in Virginia.

For Edwards, the interior design process is informed by both research and development. This allows her to create inventive and functional spaces for her clients. Edwards has always dreamed of being able to change a person’s life by transforming spaces to be comfortable and functional places that improve quality of life. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring that philosophy to her work with the Kahler Slater Healthcare Team in order to enhance the patient experience. She is also excited about being a member of the Richmond community and looks forward to supporting the design community as well as area charitable organizations, such as the firm’s current partnership with Safe Harbor.
