The University of Texas-San Antonio's Center for Oral Health was chosen as the San Antonio Business Journal's Best Medical Facility for its 2013 Best in Commercial Real Estate awards. The new building won the award for Best Medical Development. It will be completed in July 2015, and will hold 100 dental students per class year, in addition to 90 advanced training residents a year. It will also see an increased patient load from the current 100,000 patient visits per year.
