Congratulations to Valley Health and the entire project team on the ribbon cutting of the Winchester Medical Center Behavioral Health Pavilion. This milestone represents more than the completion of a new building. It reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to behavioral health services and creating greater support for individuals and families throughout the region.
As the outpatient facility prepares to welcome patients next week, programs previously spread across multiple locations will come together under one roof, making care more connected, accessible, and seamless. Designed to foster healing, dignity, and connection, the 26,200-square-foot pavilion creates a welcoming environment for both adult and adolescent populations. By bringing comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services together in one location, the facility will strengthen care coordination, support future growth, and make a lasting difference in the health and well-being of the Winchester and surrounding community.

“Behind every appointment is a person, a family and a story. Our goal is for everyone who walks through these doors to feel seen, supported and hopeful about what comes next. The Behavioral Health Pavilion represents a major step forward in how we care for our community. Mental and behavioral health challenges affect people of every age and background. This pavilion creates a welcoming place where children, adolescents, and adults can access coordinated care and find hope and healing.”Diane Ricci, Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Valley Health
