August 17, 2020

The complex stage expansion for the Bradley Symphony Center required the original theater’s masonry exterior wall to be moved to accommodate the size of the orchestra and truly make this a fully functional acoustic hall. The 175,000 cubic foot stage is primarily new construction which carefully incorporates appropriate technology and acoustic characteristics to make this a the 21st-century symphonic hall. The stage and performance hall includes building amenities that support the MSO and its users, while still respecting the building's beautiful historic interior.

We invite you to view how the original Warner movie palace stage was transformed for the MSO’s new Bradley Symphony Center.
