Welcome Homewood Suites, Welcome Back Button Block

December 15, 2017

Milwaukee’s newest luxury hotel has officially arrived with the grand opening of Homewood Suites in the historic Button Block building. Guests, city, and project stakeholders welcomed the 94-room extended stay hotel with a ribbon cutting ceremony, celebration, and tours. Mayor Tom Barrett and Alderman Robert Bauman offered remarks and praised the project including its impact on downtown and connection to the Historic Third Ward neighborhood.

The project marks Kahler Slater’s sixth completed downtown hotel of the last sixth hotels built in downtown Milwaukee since 2013. Kahler Slater was selected by developer Bear Development and performed complete architectural and custom interior design services for Homewood Suites.
