Looking to reinvest in Milwaukee, Colliers - a leader in global real estate, relocated their office from an adaptive reuse in Milwaukee’s Pabst Brewery Historic District to a contemporary, new construction tower in downtown. One of the key objectives of the design was to showcase the firm’s connectivity and involvement in the community. The new office invites guests and employees to their premier location overlooking the lake and downtown Milwaukee on their personal 5th-story balcony.
Beginning in the reception area, visitors are welcomed into a striking open vista of the city complemented by a hospitality space inviting them to take a moment and appreciate the view. Crisp and clean white expresses not only modern architecture, but a modern and progressive view on business and service excellence. The workplace design is high energy, open and collaborative with peeking elements encouraging shared glimpses of spaces beyond. A main thoroughfare drives through the floor plate.
After one year of occupancy, Kahler Slater created and administered a survey focused on Colliers employees and their experience in the new workplace. The following are highlights of the results collected.
