Last week, Kahler Slater joined the University of Wisconsin–Madison and our design partners at LMN Architects to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Morgridge Hall, the new home of the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS).
Named in honor of alumni and visionary partners John and Tashia Morgridge, Morgridge Hall was made possible entirely through donor support. The building brings together students, faculty, and researchers under one roof for the first time in CDIS history, creating a vibrant hub for collaboration, innovation, and discovery.
The 343,000 SF building features flexible learning spaces, collaborative research environments, and a striking architectural presence that reflects the energy and ambition of the disciplines it houses.
We are proud to have partnered with UW–Madison and LMN Architects to bring this vision to life. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to open these doors.
“There’s a certain electricity in the air today. It’s because this building is something of a public promise for the tools shaping tomorrow. AI, data and computation will continue to develop, and then they’ll be used the Badger Way, with bravery, integrity, humility, creativity, excellence and a commitment to the public good.”Jennifer L.
