Kahler Slater Celebrates the Opening of Henricksen's New Milwaukee Experience Center

July 22, 2026

Kahler Slater joined Henricksen, clients, partners, and members of Milwaukee's design community to celebrate the grand opening of Henricksen's new Milwaukee Experience Center in Walker's Point.

Located within the historic Eagleknit building, the 14,500-square-foot Experience Center transforms a landmark industrial building into a vibrant workplace and client destination that reflects Henricksen's vision for the future of work. Designed as both a functioning office and immersive showroom, the space invites visitors to explore innovative workplace solutions while experiencing firsthand how thoughtful design can foster connection, collaboration, and creativity.

The design creates a curated journey through the Henricksen brand. Guests are welcomed into a hospitality-inspired work café before moving through restored historic spaces featuring original Cream City brick, exposed concrete columns, hardwood floors, and a restored skylight that celebrates the building's architectural legacy. Flexible meeting spaces, design studios, technology-enabled product displays, and collaborative work environments encourage exploration and meaningful conversations about the evolving workplace.

Working closely with Henricksen, our team balanced the preservation of the building's historic character with a modern, human-centered workplace experience. The result is a destination that not only supports Henricksen's growing Wisconsin team but also serves as a hub for architects, designers, clients, and industry partners to discover new ideas and build lasting relationships.

Congratulations to the entire Henricksen team on this exciting milestone. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner on a project that honors Milwaukee's history while helping shape the future of the workplace.
