Kahler Slater recently received four Awards at the 2014 Wisconsin Chapter of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)'s Annual Design Excellence Awards Gala.
The ASID awards recognize outstanding interior design in such categories as corporate/office space, health care, retail and hospitality. Winners were chosen by a jury of ASID members from outside of Wisconsin. Projects were evaluated on a point system based on the appropriateness of the design solution; functional use of space; innovative and creative use of space, scale and proportion; color composition; design elements; and commitment to sustainability, and awarded as Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. The Global Water Center received Wisconsin ASID’s only Platinum Award this year.
Kahler Slater’s winning projects spanned the competition’s Healthcare/Medical, Entertainment/Recreation and Office/Corporate categories:
Global Water Center (Milwaukee, WI) - Platinum Award, Historic Renovation
Samsung (Richardson, TX) - Silver Award, Office/Corporate
Baker Tilly (Milwaukee, WI) - Bronze Award, Office/Corporate
Holy Redeemer Healthcare at Bensalem (Bensalem, PA) - Bronze Award, Healthcare/Medical
