Professional Dimensions, southeast Wisconsin’s largest networking and service organization for professional women, has named Jill Morin, executive officer of Kahler Slater, as a 2011 Sacagawea Awards recipient. The award is named for Sacagawea, the only woman on the Lewis and Clark expedition. A woman of many dimensions, Sacagawea was a trailblazer who distinguished herself throughout her life by her leadership, intelligence, foresight, common sense and adaptability.
Mary Dowell, director of community relations, Johnson Controls Inc. and president of Professional Dimensions said, “We have presented the Sacagawea award to some of Milwaukee’s most accomplished women leaders in diverse fields including nonprofit, healthcare, and business. This year’s selections reflect the continuing influence and achievements of women in our community.” For more information, visit www.professionaldimensions.org.
