Senior BIM Coordinator Tara Munn named 2025 Technologist of the Year

Congratulations to Tara Munn, Senior BIM Coordinator and Associate at Kahler Slater, on being named a 2025 Newsmaker of the Year by The Daily Reporter. These awards honor individuals and companies that have made headlines throughout the year and have excelled in their field.

Tara has played a pivotal role in advancing Kahler Slater’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices, streamlining processes, and leading firm-wide training initiatives. Her technical expertise is matched by her dedication to wellness and mentorship as she leads the firm’s Wellness Committee, coordinates volunteer efforts in the Madison office, and actively supports professional development across the team.

Outside of work, Tara is deeply engaged in the community, serving on the Madison College Architectural Advisory Board, volunteering with First Tee of South-Central Wisconsin, and speaking to students about careers in architecture and construction. She is also an active member of Downtown Madison Inc. and TEMPO’s Emerging Women Leaders.

We’re proud to celebrate Tara’s achievements and the positive impact she continues to make in our firm. She will be celebrated publicly at the Newsmakers gala next week.
