University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Receives AIA Design Award

Kahler Slater was recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Wisconsin Chapter with a Design Merit Award for the Timothy J. Hyland Hall project at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

The awards competition, sponsored by AIA Wisconsin, is an annual event at which outstanding architectural achievements are recognized. Award judges are noted design professionals from architectural firms throughout the country.

The 187,000 square foot, $41 million Hyland Hall houses the instructional, academic support, business outreach, community services and economic development programs for the nationally known University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Business and Economics. The facility is all about fostering connections between the University and the business community, the campus and students and faculty.
