Valley Health Breaks Ground on New Mental Health Pavilion

Congratulations to Valley Health on the groundbreaking of the new Mental Health Pavilion at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. The 26,200 square foot facility is the first of its kind in the Shenandoah Valley, dedicated to mental health care. It will provide therapy, support groups, and crisis care, for adults and youth in one centralized location.

Valley Health’s Stronger Together Campaign targets critical health needs in the community, and their dedication to healing, hope, and a brighter future for all is embodied in this project. Designed by Kahler Slater and built by Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc., completion is anticipated in late 2026.
