Kahler Slater's Chicago Office Moving to Accommodate Growth

November 14, 2023

We are excited to announce our move to a new Chicago office location in January 2024. Our new office will be located on the 17th floor of 150 North Wacker Drive.

“Our new office location provides the opportunity to expand upon the success we achieved in four years in Chicago. It allows us to continue our strategic growth, supporting our clients locally and across the country,” said Trina Sandschafer, Executive Vice President and Design Principal.

Glenn Roby, co-Chief Executive Officer, notes “This move represents another significant milestone in Kahler Slater’s 115-year legacy. As workplace experts, we know the importance of providing our team with an environment that supports their needs and creative abilities. The new office will allow us to embrace our design culture by offering spaces to foster connection both internally and with clients.” He adds, “Our firm believes in the vibrancy of urban downtowns. This new office space reinforces our position as business leaders and our commitment to the city centers where we live and work.”

Our Chicago office opened in early 2020 which established our 4th U.S. office location. The new office space will allow us to expand our current Chicago-based staff by accommodating more than 30 team members. The design will support our hybrid work model and best practices for workplace design. Located in the bustling West Loop, the new suite offers the neighborhood and lifestyle amenities which are important for employee engagement. It will also serve as the Chicago location for the Kahler Slater Studio, a collaborative graduate studio bringing together the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

“The tremendous growth we have seen in Chicago comes from living our mission to enrich lives and achieve powerful results. This new office space is one of the many ways we intentionally foster our firm wide design culture of creativity and collaboration,” shares Al Krueger, co-Chief Executive Officer.
