Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital Celebrates Topping Out of New Hospital

This week marked an exciting milestone as the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital campus in South Boston, Virginia, celebrated the topping out of their new 102,195 SF, 42-bed acute care hospital. This facility replaces the current 70-year-old hospital and represents a major step toward delivering expanded, state-of-the-art healthcare to the Halifax community.

The program includes emergency services, including an on‑campus helipad to support rapid emergency response, imaging, surgery, dining and patient support areas, inpatient care, and an ICU.
